Exeter City Farm is an Exeter based Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), charity registration number 1177165. We were originally founded as a community group in July 2016 and became a CIO in February 2018.

TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A PRODUCTIVE, SUSTAINABLE CITY FARM AND COMMUNITY GARDEN FOR AND WITH THE COMMUNITY OF EXETER, IN WHICH PEOPLE (ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE DISADVANTAGED) CAN COME TOGETHER IN A CARING, SUPPORTIVE SETTING TO LEARN, SOCIALISE AND THRIVE.
Our Charitable Objectives
a) To promote, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Exeter and the surrounding area, the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation, of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social and economic circumstance or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of lives of the said inhabitants.
b) To advance the education of the public at large, in agriculture, horticulture, crafts, animal husbandry, care of animals, country life, and the natural environment.
c) To advance education for the public benefit amongst persons in need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances, particularly, but not exclusively in enterprises or projects relating to agriculture, farming, horticulture, with a view to helping such persons acquire vocational skills and work experience in order to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities and their physical and mental capacities.
